San Diego: Alice’s Italian Gourmet

Chicken Parmesan Sliders
It’s a small restaurant with an outdoor patio. For me the lighting is a bit dark. I like lighting where I can see the menu. My parents order a frito misto to share (which means fried seafood appetizer). It was ok. I don’t care for chewy things like squid tentacles and stuff squeezed with lemon. I ordered the penne pasta with bolognese sauce. The sauce was good but didn’t have enough pasta.

WHAT THE PARENTS THINK
- The restaurant is family friendly with a good selection of kids and adult meals.
- Love the Chicken Parmesan Sliders.
- Prices are high for a weeknight meal. The portions are good size and could be share with two people. The quality of the food is excellent.
- Didn’t see a happy hour option.
- Restaurant is small (about 20 seats).
- They restaurant could have a wait if you come during peak and weekends.
